Office Policies

Payments

  1. This is a cash-basis office, and payment is due when services are rendered, i.e., at the end of your first visit and all other subsequent visits. We accept cash, check, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).

  2. A 10% discount is available for clients who wish to prepay for ten visits at a time. In this case, your eleventh visit is free.

  3. We do not accept payments directly from group health insurance programs such as Blue Cross, Prudential, Medicare, etc. However, we will gladly assist you in getting reimbursed from your insurance carrier. Our office will supply you with two statements of your billing. Simply mail in the original to your insurance company and keep a copy for your records. That’s all there is to it! Please be aware of your deductible and the scope of your benefits.

Rescheduling Appointments

We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances affecting your schedule, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We ask that you respect the following office policies on rescheduling, canceling or missing appointments:

  1. If you wish to reschedule or cancel a 30-minutes or less appointment, we require 24-hours advance notice. If notice is given less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a fee.

  2. If you wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment longer than 30 minutes, we require 48-hours notice. If notice is given less than 48 hours in advance, you will be charged an appropriate fee.

  3. If you miss an appointment, you will be charged a missed appointment fee.

  4. Once per year (counted from your first day of treatment) we allow you to reschedule a missed appointment at no charge, provided it is made within three office working days of the original appointment.

Treatment Programs

  1. During the last phase of your Report of Findings, the doctor will recommend a treatment schedule designed to give you the results you want. If financial or time constraints or travel distance need to be taken into consideration, please let the doctor know so he can design a schedule that will work for you. Once you and the doctor have agreed upon your treatment schedule, we encourage you to maintain it. If you feel you need to change your treatment program, we ask that you discuss this with the doctor first.

  2. We encourage you to schedule your appointments at least one week ahead of time and then to make appointments for at least two weeks at a time. In this way, you can be assured of getting the treatment time you prefer. If you can’t do this, do the best you can. We will do our best to be as flexible as possible.

Makeup Appointments

Once you have agreed upon a treatment schedule with the doctor, you are expected to make up missed appointments. This is so you can get the results you want. For example, if your treatment schedule calls for two visits per week and you are unable to make the second appointment of the week, you are expected to schedule a make-up appointment later that same week or the following week. If you schedule the makeup appointment for the following week, you will have a total of three visits that week. We prefer, whenever possible, that you schedule your makeup visit for the same week as the original appointment.

Monthly Free Workshop
“Surviving Stress and Beyond”

All new patients attend our monthly free workshop during the beginning of care as part of their treatment program (unless there are extenuating circumstances). The workshop is offered at our office the first Wednesday of the month, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Guests, family members, and friends are always welcome. Flyers announcing the workshop are available at the front desk or can be mailed upon request.

The purpose of the workshop is twofold. First, to better acquaint you with the methods we use to rebalance your body so you can take full personal responsibility for the quality of your health care. Second, to give your friends the opportunity to discover if they can benefit from our care.
